Return and Refund Policy

This policy is part of the Attendee Terms. It covers tickets for Marco Polo Summit 2027, 24 and 25 February 2027, Amsterdam.

1. The short version

We hold 100 seats for 100 people, and we turn others away to keep it that way. A seat that goes empty late is a seat someone else could have taken. The deadlines below follow from that.

2. If you cancel

Email marcel@marcopolosummit.com. The date we receive your email counts.

We refund to the payment method you used, within 14 days of confirming your cancellation. No-shows are not refunded.

3. Sending someone else instead

If you cannot come, you can offer your seat to a colleague, until 10 February 2027.

• The substitute must fit the same category (brand, investor or enabler) and must pass our selection, as every attendee does. We are quick about it, usually within three working days.
• Email us the name, title, company and work email of the person. Once we confirm, the seat is theirs.
• There is no fee for a substitution. Substitution is possible at any time until the deadline, also after the refund deadlines have passed.

Tickets cannot be resold or transferred without our confirmation.

4. If we change the date or venue

If we move the summit, you can:

• keep your seat for the new date, or
• cancel within 14 days of our announcement and get a full refund.

If you do not reply within 14 days, we keep your seat for the new date.

5. If we cancel

If we cancel the summit, you get a full refund of the ticket price within 14 days. We do not refund other costs, such as flights or hotels. Book flexible rates where you can.

6. Force majeure

Events beyond our control can stop us from holding the summit on the planned date: government measures, strikes, severe weather, venue closure or illness of key people. Then section 4 applies: a new date, or a full refund if you cancel within 14 days of our announcement.

7. Hotels and extras

Hotel rooms you book through our partner links are a contract between you and the hotel. Their cancellation terms apply. Anything you order yourself at the venue or restaurants is at your own cost.
